We are pleased to share with you news on the sale of our portfolio company, Advantage Sales & Marketing LLC (ASM), North America’s premier sales and marketing agency, to Apax Partners. The sale was announced late last month through a press release and closed last week.
ASM provides outsourced sales, marketing and merchandising services to manufacturers, suppliers and producers of consumer packaged goods. ASM represents over $40 billion in sales of consumer-packaged goods and manages more than 5,000 food and non-food stock-keeping units (SKUs) on behalf of more than 1,200 clients. Headquartered in Irvine, California, ASM has more than 30,000 associates and 66 offices in the United States and Canada.
